Although 10,000 employees is reportedly only 5% of Microsoft’s staff, we are still talking about 10,000 people without jobs. This news comes at the same time Amazon has decided to fire 18,000 employees. Doesn’t seem like things are going that well in the Biden economy. Everyone who has a job is losing it and the other 70% of the able population are electing not to work at all. At some point, you have to start blaming this on something other than a virus. I am sure that any day now these ‘green energy sector jobs’ will start taking on these newly unemployed folks. I’ll wait for that headline.
