Californian’s and climate activists continue to be shocked that this coastal state has the same type of weather each year. This extreme weather includes, rain, storms, flooding, drought, and even earthquakes. Media, such as NPR, want to make it clear that these weather events are not the norm as they haven’t occurred since last year around the same time. In all reality, a similar flooding event did take place five years ago as the article explains. It also details the amount of deaths, as well as the severity of the weather events were worse five years ago. I guess that means global warming and climate change are getting better right?
