The grand hypocrisy on the part of congressional democrats is truly delightful. I do not believe Elon Musk is a Republican and I do not believe he is conservative. He is probably more left leaning in his policy stances; however, Musk believes in one important and forgotten liberty most democrats cannot allow. Yes, Elon Musk believes in the freedom of speech. Just the thought of someone who believe is free and fair speech has democrats on capitol hill boiling with anger. As reported in “Politico”, Jan Schakowsky (a democrat from Illinois) demanded that Musk testify before the House ‘Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Innovation’ and to “explain himself”. Unfortunately, Jan is no longer in charge of setting the agenda for this subcommittee and her threats will fall on deaf ears.
In all reality, Musk’s unannounced visit was probably one of many. He will most likely return to meet with members from all parties. Seriously though Karen, un-clutch your pearls.
