I’ve always liked LeBron James and, were it not for his completely uneducated stance on politics and lack of common sense global awareness in the area of human rights, I might even tell people he was my favorite NBA player. Sports and emotions go hand in hand. This is true for local elementary sports, high school sports, and for the professional level. While LeBron has received a lot of flack over the years for his “crab dribble” and flopping, he usually is pretty calm on the court. He almost never gets into heated exchanged and handles his personal life very privately. Cheers to you as one of the words most famous people. Saturday’s game against the Boston Celtics brought out the worst in emotional overreactions from the NBA’s, soon to be, all time leading scorer. All of my children have had this same reaction, at one time or another, when they were three years old. No one likes it when refs insert themselves into the game and 100% of LA Laker Fans knew this no call cost them the game. Is this type of emotional reaction good for the game? Is this the example we want for our younger kids?
